MAJIKS MEDIA · Where rights livemajiks · media

The rights layer for the
AI music era.

Majiks Media is the rights infrastructure that turns regulatory positioning into a customer-facing surface. An approved ISRC registrant, a federally-mandated mechanical licensing seat, Chromaprint fingerprinting, and a cryptographic provenance certificate signed for every track that flows through the platform.

Where AI music gets a real receipt. Real ISRC. Real fingerprint. Real cert. Forever.

Three audiences served

One registry. Three commercial relationships.

The same rights spine serves the maker, the buyer, and the verifier. Most users only ever touch one face of it.

Regulatory status · Present tense

The seats are filed. Most are already approved.

Authorized-registry status takes years to earn. Aaron Stransky personally cleared the ISRC application process and paid the fees. Below is the exact regulatory standing — present tense, no embellishment.

ISRC Registrant

Artist tier · retail issuance

We mint authoritative ISRCs today for any artist on Majiks. All codes issued under our single registrant name. DistroKid / CD Baby retail parity for individual issuance — already shipping.

Approved · OperationalISRC :: APPROVED

MLC Sound Source

Federally-mandated authoritative recording database

Recognized data source for the Mechanical Licensing Collective's authoritative recording database. Created under the Music Modernization Act of 2018.

ApprovedMLC-SS :: APPROVED

MLC

The Mechanical Licensing Collective itself

Registered with the federally-mandated body created under the Music Modernization Act for mechanical licensing infrastructure.

RegisteredMLC :: REGISTERED

ISRC Manager

Wholesale tier · issue ISRC blocks to other labels

The wholesale tier above the registrant level — authority to issue ISRC blocks to other labels who then mint their own codes. DistroKid and CD Baby hold this tier. Approval converts Majiks from a retail issuer into a registry of registries. Application is in. Strong case.

Applied · Pending reviewISRC-MGR :: APPLIED

Investors and sync customers can both smell when a startup overstates regulatory status. We don't. Three of four seats are operational; the fourth is filed and pending.

What's in the receipt

Every track ships with a real provenance cert.

The Majiks Media certificate is what the registry actually issues. Generated at upload. Stored forever. Cite-able in license agreements, downstream registries, and AI verification flows.

Sync licensing · The first commercial use case

You can license this for your project — because the provenance is unbreakable.

Sync licensing — film, TV, advertising, games — is the first commercial expression of being the registry. Every track in the catalog was ISRC-stamped, fingerprinted, and cert-signed at the source. Not bolted on after the fact.

Browse by mood, genre, tempo

The catalog browser is built around the way placement music actually gets shopped. Filter on use-case, energy, instrumentation, lyrical theme. Audition fast.

Provenance attached to every result

Every track in a result set carries its cert hash, ISRC, and fingerprint. The clearance trail exists before you even click license.

Per-use commercial licensing

Direct contract between you and the creator. Majiks takes a small admin fee on commercial use. The creator keeps 90%.

Catalog browser · in development

The public-facing sync catalog browser is shipping in Phase 1 (this quarter). For active sync inquiries today, reach out directly — we'll match your project against the rights-cleared library by hand.

Roadmap · Phased honesty

What's live. What's in flight. What we won't pretend is done.

Each item is labeled with where it actually is — not where we want it to be. Investors and sync customers can both smell overstated regulatory status. We don't do that.

The thesis

AI music has had no rights infrastructure. We're building it.

We're already an approved ISRC registrant. We're already issuing real ISRCs. We're already on the MLC Sound Source data sources list. The infrastructure is operating today — you can audit it, we'll show you the codes, and the certs are signed.

The next layer is making that infrastructure available as a public registry — a query layer the rest of the AI music economy can call into. That's what Media is.

Where Media lives in the ecosystem

The spine. Studio creates. Online distributes. Media remembers.

Media is the rights infrastructure layer of the Majiks ecosystem — the registry, the provenance signer, the source-of-truth for who-made-what. Studio uploads through the Online publish flow, and Media issues the receipt automatically. The wider ecosystem — Music, Kids, News, Academy, Training — all settle to the same registry.
