We're rebuilding the
music industry's spine.
Majiks is the music industry, rebuilt from first principles for the AI era — owned end-to-end, federated by design, and already in production. Three verticals live, 756+ tracks, 21 artists, one formal foundation-model partnership.
AI made music infinite — which means the only scarce thing left is trust, provenance, and the relationship between maker and listener. Whoever owns the registry of who-made-what becomes the spine of the next music economy. Not Spotify. Not the labels. Not even the AI companies. We're building that registry — and the entire creator-to-listener stack on top of it.

Any one would be a story. Stacked, they're a thesis.
The infrastructure exists. The pipeline runs. The question was never whether it could be built — it was whether anyone could replicate the distribution.
Aaron Stransky filed personally for ISRC Manager status — the same sanctioned authority DistroKid and CD Baby hold. Plus filings to MLC and MLC Sound Source — the federally-mandated mechanical licensing bodies under the Music Modernization Act — with a fourth authoritative-source application in process. Code can be copied. Authorized-registry status takes years to earn — and the window is open right now.
Unicorn Commander is Magic Unicorn's distributed federated infrastructure. We plan to release Majiks itself as decentralized infrastructure: anyone can run a node, host their own music, mint their own provenance certs. It all registers back to us — the way DNS root servers work for the open internet.
Creator owns the master (Studio runs open-source models on your hardware — the file is yours, forever, in commercial perpetuity). Listener owns the file ($1 per song on Online, no subscription, 100% to artist on personal). Compare: Suno owns the masters of songs made on their platform — rights evaporate when subscription lapses. Compare: Spotify pays $0.003 per stream — 333 plays per dollar. Ownership all the way down is the only relationship that doesn't get eaten by intermediaries.
Most music after 2026 is hybrid. Humans write lyrics, AI fills the band. AI generates a sketch, humans cut a vocal. We don't differentiate AI from human in our catalog because the distinction is already fading. It's the position competitors are afraid to take — and the only honest one.
The window opened in the last twelve months.
Four converging conditions, none of which existed at this maturity in 2024.
The open-source music foundation model we're formally partnered with reached production-quality on-device generation.
Apple's MLX framework matured for music workloads. We ship MLX-accelerated inference today — 2-3× faster than CPU/PyTorch.
The Music Modernization Act database — the federally-mandated mechanical licensing rail — is still accepting authorized data sources.
The opening for a sovereign, on-device, federated alternative is wider in 2026 than it has been since 2008.
One formal foundation-model partner. Filings in flight with the rails.
First formal partnership with founder Junmin Gong. Free cloud API for Majiks users, XL-tier model early access, co-marketing as production reference. Same level as ComfyUI Audio.
ACE-Step is formally partnered with ComfyUI for the nodes-based integration. Majiks ships the desktop reference implementation alongside it.
Approved at the artist registrant tier. Aaron paid the fees and cleared the process. We mint authoritative ISRCs today for any artist on Majiks, all under our registrant name.
The wholesale tier above registrant — authority to issue ISRC blocks to other labels (DistroKid/CD Baby hold this). Approval converts Majiks from retail issuer into the registry of registries.
Recognized data source for the Mechanical Licensing Collective's authoritative recording database. Federally-mandated under the Music Modernization Act.
The Mechanical Licensing Collective itself — the federally-mandated body created under the Music Modernization Act for mechanical licensing infrastructure.
Vector search infrastructure powering music similarity matching and the Songwriter knowledge graph.
